Culture

This area includes the contribution of the target culture in the process of learning a second language in a given sociocultural context, as well as the relationship between language and culture. Therefore, the different cultural manifestations that describe the vision of the world, the customs, values, beliefs and attitudes of the speakers towards other cultures are a complementary thematic axis for the knowledge of different sociolinguistic contexts that allow the speakers of a language to know how to function in different communicative situations, carry out appropriate linguistic functions and make use of non-verbal language to interact effectively with other English speakers. The topics to be developed will describe the application of different language teaching methodologies with a cultural approach.
